About Seraphaé
Seraphaé is a demi-fine jewellery house based in Srinagar, Kashmir, making anti-tarnish, 18k gold-plated pieces designed to be worn every day rather than kept in a locker.
Why we started
Indian jewellery has traditionally been split in two. On one side, fine gold — beautiful, valuable, and usually locked away except for weddings and festivals. On the other, inexpensive costume jewellery that looks wonderful for a fortnight and then turns. There was very little in between for someone who simply wanted something lovely to wear to work on a Tuesday.
We built Seraphaé for that gap. Every piece uses genuine 18k gold plating with an anti-tarnish finish, over hypoallergenic, nickel-free brass, set with hand-cut cubic zirconia, freshwater pearls and natural shell. The materials are real and the finishing is proper; what we leave out is the precious-metal weight that pushes fine jewellery into the tens of thousands.
What we make
Necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and bangles, priced between ₹999 and ₹2,599. Every piece is nickel-free, which matters for the very large number of people who cannot wear ordinary costume jewellery without irritation. Read more in our guide to jewellery for sensitive skin.
How we sell
Directly, online, across India. We dispatch within 24 hours, ship free on orders over ₹999, and accept returns for 7 days from delivery. We ask for a continuous unboxing video on damage or wrong-item claims — a standard practice that protects both sides.

An honest note on materials
We sell gold-plated jewellery, not solid gold, and we would rather say so plainly than let a product photograph imply otherwise. Every piece has a genuine 18k gold layer bonded over hypoallergenic nickel-free brass, with an anti-tarnish finish on top. That gives you the colour, weight and finish of fine jewellery at a fraction of the cost — but it holds no precious-metal resale value, and it is not BIS hallmarked, because hallmarking applies to solid gold and silver articles rather than plated ones.
